A Parent Led Organization Enriching The Community Supporting Our Keiki

WHO WE ARE

Friends of Waiʻalae School (FWS) is a parent-led volunteer group that partners with the school to build community, support teachers and staff, and create joyful experiences for our keiki and their families.

We plan school events, fundraise, share helpful information, and make space for families to connect. Our goal? A vibrant, welcoming community where everyone feels seen, supported, and involved—whether you have 30 minutes or 30 hours to give.

WHY GET INVOLVED?

It’s easier than you think!

Most roles are small and flexible, from a one-time task or join a team. No experience needed.

Be part of the village.

Meet other families, use your talents in meaningful ways, and help create the kind of school community we all want for our Keiki.

Every bit counts.

You don’t need to do it all. Just pick one little way to contribute. Together, it adds up to something big.
