Our Team

Meredith Mimms, Co-Chair
This is my 5th year as a Wai’alae parent & 4th year being involved with FWS as a volunteer and Officer. I was previously co-President of a Cooperative Pre-K , a founding member of another elementary school’s parent-led organization, & was once an interior designer. Our family (Aaron, Bastien (Alum 8th Grade), Alice (5th Grade), Cecil (2nd Grade) loves beach days, paddleboarding, playing board games together, being creative, & hiking. I am excited to collaborate with families & school staff to encourage opportunities for connection, continue to cultivate our community, & build upon our achievements from last year!

Olivia Poblacion, Co-Chair
Aloha! I’m Olivia and I have two keiki at Wai’alae (1st & 4th grade). I work as a coordinator for environmental programs and love supporting efforts to build healthy communities. My family’s favorite things about Wai’alae are the dedicated and caring teachers & staff, special subjects, awesome annual events like the musical, field trips, May Day, Fun Fair, and the Hawai'i Island Cultural Experience. This will be my second year on the FWS leadership team and I’m looking forward to connecting with you!
