A discount card featuring 27 local businesses (including many owned by Wai’alae families). Cardholders receive continuous discounts for the whole year. Cards are valid December 2025-December 2026.

Businesses benefit from FWS sponsored promotion and advertising (flyers, events, website, social media,etc.) and the opportunity to gain new customers. There are no fees or upfront costs to participate. Businesses choose the type of discount to offer.
Customers benefit by saving money and supporting their local community.
Wai’alae students benefit from the proceeds of card sales, which go to help families pay for the Hawai’i Island Cultural Experience (HICE)– a multi-day field trip to Hawai’i Island for all 4th graders. This unique, place-based educational journey is a highlight of the Wai'alae experience, but would not be possible without significant fundraising efforts. -
